hey.. i've just put a door on my shed after i bought it second hand and i cant lock the door from the outside only the inside.. is it possible just to switch the barrel around? and how do i remove the lock to do it?

To remove the lock barrel from your door simply remove the screw located on the side of the door that fixes it in place, then insert one of the keys and slowly turn it while pulling on the key quite hard. You may need to remove or slacken the handles to aid the removal of the lock barrel.
The barrel may not be reversible, it depends on its size (it may be longer on the outside than on the inside). If after turning it around it doesn't sit flush with the handle then you may need to purchase a new euro cylinder (lock barrel). You would expect to pay around £12 for a new one.
