Please could someone help me.  The other day I closed the window as normal from tilted to closed, when I then tried to re-open it, nothing happened.  The handle now just turns in a full circle (which it shouldn't) and seems to have lost contact with the mechanism inside.  There doesn't seem to be any screws to open it to look, and it is a handle that doesn't have a key slot.  Could anyone please point me in the right direction as what to do next?!

Much appreciated

I'm not quite sure what you mean when you say ' There doesn't seem to be any screws to open it to look'.

I assume you mean no visible screws to undo that allow you to take the handle off.

If this is the case it will have a push-on cover.

Just easy a thin blade (paint scraper etc) under the edge of the handle and lever the cover away from the window.

Once the cover is off 2 x M5 screw will release the handle.

At this point you can see if its the handle to spindle interface that has failed or the drive mechanism.
