PVC Door Manufactured without drainage

Hi there, I wonder if anyone can offer advice?
My PVC door installed in 2012 was always set quite stiff but of late its relaxed a bit. Since then I noticed water leaking into the house during hard rain, because the sill fills up - and it turns out the door was manufactured without any drainage. The installer has gone bust. And the 10 year insurance certificate with the plastics window federation doesn't cover it because its a manufacturing defect.

I can't really afford a new door - has anyone come across this scenario before and can offer some advice / guidance?

thanks in advance, Elaine

Could the absence of drainage in PVC doors potentially lead to long-term structural damage and mold growth, and what steps can be taken to mitigate these issues?

Is it possible to replace the plastic cover for the tilt turn window hinge with a more sustainable and eco-friendly material, such as biodegradable or recycled plastic alternatives?
