Title: windows wont open/

hi guys could you please tell me how to open top sash of windows and repair them cheers. also i have front door when i open it to anyone it swings shut.thank you people

If the window won't open, remove the handle then insert a small metal hook into the window where the handle usually fits. Turn the hook clockwise or anticlockwise to try to unlock the espagnolette lock inside the window.

You may need to replace the espagnolette:

If your door is swinging in the wind you could fit one of these:

https://www.upvc-hardware.co.uk/restrictors-security/restrictors/door-restrictor-stay-hold-open-90-degree

It will slow the door when opening and closing and will hold it open at 90 degrees if required.#

If the hook thing doesn't open the window then try to gemmy the window open using a very wide bladed metal chissel or similar. If this doesn't work then you may have to remove the glass then gemmy agian.
