I was told today by a window installer it would cost me about £1000 for a new door. I laughed in his face four couple of minutes then told him he better leave.
Was this guy taking the P1ss or what. What should one of these doors cost me.
Thers no way i'm paying that much for a door so might end up just doing up the old one with new hinges locks handles etc as it is double glazed already but getting on a bit.
Any ideas welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why bother replacing the door in the first place if you can repair it ???
Sounds like a no-brainer to me
I would never look at replacing a upvc double glazed window or door if it could be repaired.
Its just a waiste of money replacing it with another for the sake of a lock or handle etc.
